A loving "brother"
I have a best friend that is a girl. She has always been there for me, and helped me when my girlfriend died in a carwreck. I've alway have loved her, and now I'm looking for a new girlfriend and I've realized that I really love her. She has always been there for me, and she is very beutiful, but she is my best friend and says I'm like a brother to her.

If she is your "best friend" as you stated, then tell her how you feel.
You can't hide your feelings and go on wondering and loving her from afar.
What is the worse that could happen? Her tell you she doesn't feel the same? Well, then you'd know, and move on, yet still remain friends.
Maybe she feels the same way, who knows?
She might feel you are like a brother to her, or she might have said that because you two are close. Who really knows for sure?
Or maybe it's because she's masking her feelings. You will never know unless you talk to her about it.
